High pressure hydrogenation reactor
High pressure hydrogenation reactor
Gas-liquid reaction is a kind of reaction often encountered in petrochemical, fine chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical chemical, typical applications include catalytic hydrogenation, catalytic oxidation, fermentation and other processes, whose common feature is that the size of the contact area of gas-liquid phase significantly affects the reaction rate. The high-pressure hydrogenation reactor is a kind of stirred kettle for gas-liquid reactions, which diffuses, convects and reacts in the liquid phase by bubbling hydrogen gas through the stirred liquid layer under mechanical stirring.
High-pressure hydrogenation reactors are used in four main applications in the chemical industry: liquid-phase reaction processes, gas scrubbing and purification, pure product manufacturing and biological systems.
The working principle of the high-pressure hydrogenation reactor is to use high speed to form a vacuum around the stirring paddle, and the hydrogen gas at the top of the reactor is sucked into the material through the hollow shaft and the self-priming paddle under the effect of pressure difference to achieve the purpose of full mixing.
High pressure hydrogenation reactor gas replacement: In the experiment, we will encounter gas replacement with nitrogen or hydrogen, or hydrogenation reaction, we have to convert the air in the kettle into the required gas reaction. There are generally 2 methods. One is to pass the reaction gas into the laboratory reactor after vacuuming the reactor; the other is to pass the required gas into the reactor first, then close the inlet valve and open the exhaust valve; after three iterations, the gas in the hydrogenation reactor is replaced.
